I purchased this dress to wear to an outdoor wedding and it was perfect. It doesn't feel cheap although it's not an expensive dress. I paired it with a thick belt and a long chained necklace. For my 5 foot frame, it was a little too long but that's something you come to expect when you're short. It felt like a soft t-shirt on the top portion of the dress which was great for me because I'm a tshirt and jeans kind of gal. Very flowy skirt with pockets.This dress is so comfortable! I am 5'10, 260 lb. bought the size 3X to be on the safe side. It was the perfect length for my height and I probably could have worn the 2X because I did have some extra room in the dress. Because it is stretchy, it did not look like it was too big. I do recommend for all day wear for church, picnic, beach stroll, whatever!As a 44/46 I chested woman with large arms, 280-285 lbs & 5' 1/2" tall, this dress fit beautifully other than needing to be tied at the bottom to prevent dragging on the ground (still looked great though). I love the pockets & the dress does not make me look frumpy as it was sewn in correct proportions. I ordered 4X. My only complaints are that it faded a little, is getting lint balls & thin after wearing & washing it (cool water) less than once a week since I purchased it in January (6 months)-- so the quality is similar to tops I buy from Maurices.Runs small. Size up 2 sizes. A little low at bust.This dress, while light and comfortable, is slightly on the thin side. I felt it necessary to wear a tank top and half slip for modesty's sake. It is still very comfortable though, and I plan on wearing it often. It also washed up easily which was nice. I washed and dried it on delicate.I loved how this looked in the picture. I would say that it looked pretty close to the picture when opened and tried on. I did size up one to a 3X and though it was comfortable the fit just felt like a parachute especially for the side view. I have lost weight which could have factored in. My only dislike is the pattern has a pale pink color which I did not like. I just returned the dress for a smaller size as I did feel it is a pretty color theme to have in my wardrobe. I would say order your true size unless you are going for a loose fit.I love these dresses I call them my pajama dress because the material is so soft and very comfortable. I wear to work, church, around the house, in vacation. I would like to see them reverse the coloration, maybe the patterned material tops and solid colored skirts.Loved but I needed to hem. Not on them.im just short!?
