It's oddly shaped and unflattering because of it.I own a number of plus-sized, soft maxi dresses, mostly without waistlines. Most are T-shirt shaped and fall from the neck line without accentuating the waist.Or, they have empire waists under the bust and fall past the waist without drawing attention to it.This dress has a waistline that is a little lower than a normal waistline and accentuates the roundest part of an apple-shaped figure.I couldn't adjust it higher and get it to fall in a flattering way. And the circumference at the top is too tight for an ample bust.If I was long wasted with a small bust and wanted to hide larger hips, this might work for me. But I'm round in the top and middle and looked like an unevenly belted throw pillow.It is cool and light and I like the fabric print, which looked good with my hazel eyes and autumn complextion.I'm a tall full figured gal (5ft 11in) and love the fit of this dress. I ordered a 5X the first time but found it a little too loose. Next two I got a 4X and it fits perfect. I've never ordered dresses from Amazon before but took a chance. Now I want one in every color. This dress could be dressed up or down. With the right accessories it can be made special occasion like I've done.It’s my fault! ??‍♀️ I definitely did NOT order the right size for me! Too Big & too long! I did not have time to make alterations… so I plan to donate it to a taller friend at church!Part of what made me choose this item was the affordable PRICE and Fast Shipping!? I was in a time crunch!Used this dress for work while I was pregnant. Very comfortable and fits well. Still use it now at times because it is so comfortable. Also, extremely easy to wash in the washing machine.Very Comfortable! This is the 2nd one I bought and I attend events that these dresses are so PERFECT for... I am going to BUY MORE in Solid colors because the dresses work for work attire as well. Very roomy, versatile (I have worn girdles when attending some events) since material is thin it does not cover the "love handles" very well... BUT as a whole the dress itself makes up for the other extremities; I don't have a problem getting snatched to make it comfortable and hiding all the other necessities needed!!The fact that it has spandex with the rayon, makes it a little warm for me. I like the flow of the dress. It reminds me of when I was a teenager in this style was maxi dresses. I love it for that fact.Tight around bust and snug to stomach area. I would say size up 1This is a great, lightweight, comfortable dress. The fit was perfect, maybe a little too long but I put a knot at the bottom and it fits and looks cute. I’ll be ordering more soon!
